Day Trip to Black Creek Provincial Park

We headed over to the Lake Huron side to do some sightseeing along Stokes Bay, Johnson Harbour and discovered Black Creek Provincial Park.

It was another beautiful sandy beach with shallow warm waters. It was practically ours the entire time we were there and only as we were leaving in the afternoon did people start arriving. We saw huge hawks overhead and the dogs and the children enjoyed the surf.

There was a sign saying no dogs allowed but there wasn't anyone else around and even the few that came wanted to play with the dogs. Later some of the regulars said everyone brings their dogs.

Sure enough once the beach starting filling up there were plenty of dogs running around. We kept the dogs on long leads and it was great to have it all to ourselves for a couple of hours.
