On Sunday we drove out along the coast of Georgian Bay heading north/east towards Dyers Bay and Cabot Head Lighthouse. It was quite the drive and it was a great lighthouse. We were able to go in and check it out while George and the dogs checked out the grounds and stayed away from the poison ivy.
The coastline was beautiful and we headed south down to the town of Lion's Head and their public beach and marina. This part of the shore was sandy and it was a hot afternoon. The dogs were allowed on the beach but I kept them on a leash since there were lots of people and other dogs. Afterwards we picked up some groceries and headed back north towards the cottage for dinner.
